Beauty SEO Case Study

From near-zero visibility to 3-4K daily impressions.

In November 2024, a U.S. laser hair removal studio came to us with strong services, loyal clients and a website that barely appeared in Google. We needed to turn organic search into a consistent source of discovery for people actively researching treatments.

How we got there

The graph moved because the whole SEO system changed.

This was not a case of adding a few keywords and waiting. We rebuilt the technical foundation, commercial pages, content structure and local search presence so each layer supported the next.

01 / Technical

First, we fixed what Google could not properly crawl.

Crawling and indexing issues were cleaned up, canonicals and sitemaps were standardized, problematic URLs were addressed and internal linking was rebuilt around the pages that mattered most.

We also improved site performance and mobile usability so the technical foundation supported both visibility and conversion.

02 / Commercial pages

Then we rebuilt the pages that should generate bookings.

Service pages were organized around actual client intent: treatment benefits, candidacy, expectations, risks, aftercare, proof and clear next steps.

The objective was not simply to rank a page. It was to answer enough of the prospective client's questions that search traffic could move toward an appointment.

03 / Authority

Then we expanded the site's authority around real buyer questions.

Content was built around actual search demand, treatment questions, comparisons and objections. Articles were connected back to commercial pages through deliberate internal linking.

Local SEO moved in parallel through Google Business Profile optimization, stronger service information, citations and improved local relevance.

Compounding growth

By late spring, the site had moved from the low hundreds of daily impressions into the thousands.

There was no single magic change. Technical SEO, commercial pages, content and local authority started working together.

The next phase

More visibility meant the next job was turning attention into action.

As Google gave the website more exposure, optimization shifted toward click-through rate and conversion. Titles, descriptions, internal navigation and high-intent CTAs were continuously improved.

Some long-form answers also began receiving additional exposure through Google's AI-driven search experiences. That made it even more important to give users a clear reason to click through and continue toward a booking.

Execution

The order of operations mattered.

Weeks 1-2
Fix the foundation
Crawling, indexing, architecture, internal linking, site performance and the technical SEO baseline.
Weeks 3-6
Rebuild commercial pages
Service-page structure, search intent, on-page optimization, conversion elements and local SEO.
Weeks 7-12
Expand authority
Content publishing, topical clusters, internal linking, local citations and stronger relevance signals.
Month 4+
Compound what worked
New search opportunities, CTR testing, authority building and continuous conversion optimization.

  • Cleaner technical foundations
  • Better commercial service pages
  • Content built around real client questions
  • Stronger internal linking
  • Improved local search signals
  • Continuous CTR and conversion testing
